As the city expanded and residential areas grew around the facility, environmental concerns led to the plant’s closure. In its place, the visionary Naya Nazimabad housing society was developed, transforming the heart of Karachi. Spanning 1,366 acres and located just 2 km from Sakhi Hasan, North Nazimabad, this project not only revitalized the area but also set the stage for positive developments in the surrounding neighborhoods.
